My business "Ilse Schwarz Dressage Inc.", established in 2000, is based fulltime in Wellington, Florida, home of the very competitive Winter Equestrian Festival. My entire philosophy revolves around quality- of horses, training, riding and care/maintenance. I find my students rise to these standards.

I first travelled to the USA in 1996, to spend a year focusing on my study of dressage and moved to Palm Beach County in 1998.
I compete here in the USA as an Australian having been born in the Australian city of Armidale. As a child I competed in every equestrian event possible- part of the great joy of being a horse crazy kid in Australia. Hence I have showjumped and evented, both quite seriously. I have done all the Pony Club events- which in Australia include barrel racing and other speedy sporting events, campdrafting (chasing cattle), tentpegging, polocrosse and other singularly Aussie pursuits! I began to seriously study dressage aged 18 and quickly represented my region, had success in Young Rider Championships and qualified for both State and National Championships.
My focus has been 100% dressage since moving to the USA, on improving the standard of training, riding, quality of horse and care. I have been studying with Steffen Peters, on a regular clinic basis, for five years and this has helped to develop my current training and teaching philosophies.
I do my level best to encourage ALL my students to rise to the challenge and be the best they can possibly be.
